Persian Feta Pastry Cigars
A classic Persian dish
200g feta cheese
2tsp dried mint
15g Greek yoghurt
6 sheets filo pastry – cut into quarters
3 eggs beaten
Nigella seeds to decorate
Preheat an oven to 200c
Crumble & mash the feta cheese into a small bowl with the mint, Street Food Chef Spicy Persian Style Seasoning & Greek yoghurt.
Take a filo square, place a 1 tsp of feta mixture on the bottom egde & roll up like a spring roll. Sealing with the egg. Continue until the rest of the mixture is finished.
Place on a baking tray, brush with the egg wash & sprinkle over the nigella seeds.
Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
