25g olive oil

5 cloves of garlic – finely chopped

1kg tinned chopped tomatoes

120g maple syrup

60g Essential Cuisine American BBQ Style Seasoning

1kg tinned Haricot Beans

30g wholegrain mustard

Method

1. In a large saucepan heat up the olive oil on a medium heat.

2. Add the garlic cooking until soft, around 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, maple syrup and Essential Cuisine American BBQ Style Seasoning. Bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

3. After 30 minutes, once the tomatoes are soft, gently mash them with the back of a spoon. Then add the drain beans and mustard.

4. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes until thick and hot then serve.
